On Friday December 6th, the village celebrated the switching on of the Christmas lights in the center of the village with a musical event in the Village Hall.
The Pembrokeshire West Gallery Quire, dressed in period costume, entertained a packed hall with seasonal music and carols and mulled wine and mince pies were served. Mrs Mabel Merriman, a long-standing resident of Reynalton performed the switching-on ceremony and the assembled company sang ‘While Shepherds watched their flocks by night’ around the tree, under a clear starlit sky.

Thanks are due to ‘Jon Sparkys‘ Electrical Contractor and to Mr Edward Jones of Hackett Farm for the setting up of the lights which have brightened the route through the village throughout the Christmas period. Thanks too to members of the Residents’ Association who organised the evening and to Rev Canon MIchael Lewis who was MC.
